We are seeking session proposals for presentation at The Commit!Forum 2011 taking place on September 26-27 in New York City. Please submit your session ideas and proposals for consideration.
Who Attends?
The Commit! Forum 2011 evolves from Corporate Responsibility Magazine's 100 Best Corporate Citizens List and engages investors, employees, governments, suppliers, media, NGOs, and customers. The Commit!Campaign builds up to the two-day Commit!Forum, bringing together over 1,000 leaders and dozens of the world’s most committed Best Corporate Citizens at the two-day Commit!Forum.
What Kinds of Sessions Occur?
The Commit!Forum features three different presentation formats:
- Game-Changing Innovations. The Top 11 Game-Changers of 2011 -- the new ideas, approaches, technologies, trends, and people changing the very face of corporate responsibility. Selected innovators will give "the best speech of their lives" in a ten minute pitch during a plenary Innovation Lightening Round. All submissions will be assembled into a Guide to CR Innovation distributed to all Commit!Forum delegates. At the end of the Lightening Round the audience will vote to select the Best in Show Innovation of 2011.
- MissionPossible Interactive Case Studies. Demonstrating how multiple stakeholders -- companies, NGOs, governments, etc -- have taken on a big societal issue. In these highly interactive sessions, principals from each stakeholder describe the challenge they face in tackling the issue and engage the audience in a discussion and live crowd-sourcing of solutions. The principals conclude with a brief presentation of their results to date.
- Roundtable Discussions. Small group discussions facilitated by qualified experts.
Please submit a synopsis, preferably a 3-5 minute video, outlining your session by May 20th. Selected synopses will get posted online for delegates to see as they register. In the session description field you can insert a link to the video (on YouTube or your own site). If you don't want to submit a video, fill out the form online or download a form in MS Word format.
